Prepare to be Wow-ed: An Unforgettable Site Visit at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All-Inclusive Golf & Spa

The scene was set several months prior when we talked to our National Sales Office (NSO) about an upcoming trip to Cabo San Lucas. She said, “You have to see my property.” We were a bit hesitant as we were attempting to make this a vacation, not a site inspection. However, after talking to a few clients, one of whom mentioned their interest in Cabo, we jumped at the chance to see it, especially since it was less than five miles from our resort.

With a few emails back and forth, and a plea to ensure the family had something to do while the site tour commenced, we definitely got more than we expected. This resort boasts one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo, sitting nicely on the Sea of Cortez with sweeping views and countless amenities, including great meeting space. We arranged for Tropical Incentives DMC to pick us up, arriving a bit early at the resort. They were ready and took care of us with a cabana in the Grand Club, providing access to top-level food, drink, and pool.

Grand Fiesta Americana is an all-inclusive resort where you can order as much as you want, whenever you want. The day pass we received was hard to come by, but we were fortunate enough to be invited as their guests for the day, not just to see the resort, but to experience it.

Meeting the sales manager back at the lobby, we were whisked away to see all the amazing attributes this resort has to offer. This well-orchestrated site visit revealed hidden gems at every turn.

The Highlights

Sushi Sky Bar Restaurant: Our tour began at the sushi restaurant, one of the two restaurants not included in the all-inclusive plan. Though it wasn’t open at the time, it was in a prime location right off the lobby, perfect for private events. The sleek design and ambiance made it clear this was a premium dining option.

Somma Wine Spa: Next was the newly redesigned spa, Somma Wine Spa, incorporating the benefits of wine into their treatments. The spa was clean and absolutely gorgeous, exuding an air of tranquility and luxury. Only wish we could have enjoyed a treatment. The spa menu was innovative, offering vinotherapy treatments that utilize the benefits of grapes and wine.

Black Lemon Night Club: We then visited Black Lemon, the on-site nightclub and venue. As we walked in, we were greeted with our logo on the big screen. The space serves dual purposes: corporate general sessions with AV and stage, and a fun nightclub experience. The versatility of the space was impressive, able to transition seamlessly from a professional setting to a lively night out.

Meeting and Event Spaces: We toured the large courtyard attached to the ballroom, a wonderful touch for an indoor/outdoor feel. Why go to Cabo and not enjoy the weather? The meeting spaces featured old-world style decor, not old but very Mexico. With five meeting spaces offering almost 14,000 square feet of indoor space, plus countless outdoor spaces, the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is a great space for any size group. The versatility and elegance of the meeting spaces were particularly noteworthy.

Rosato Italian Restaurant: Our next stop was Rosato, a beautifully appointed Italian restaurant with all-white walls, crisp white linen, and comfy grey chairs. The outdoor seating had the mountainous terrain as a backdrop, reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast. Here, we enjoyed a refreshing beverage with Virsitour flags in each drink. The ambiance was serene, and the staff was exceptionally attentive.

Additional Restaurants: We also had the chance to look at La Bodega, El Mexicana, Viña del Mar, and Peninsula. With 12 food and drink outlets on property, you can experience different cuisine each day of your trip. Each restaurant had its own unique charm and culinary offerings, ensuring a diverse dining experience for guests.

Guest Rooms (this is a 360 tour of the Grand Master Suite): We saw a standard guest room with a King bed and were surprised to find our logo, along with the resort's, made of colored rice on the bed. The rooms were clean and modern, with Mexico chic decor, each room featuring a tub, shower, and balcony overlooking the ocean. The attention to detail in the room decor and the personalized touches made us feel truly welcomed. Here is a 360 of the Presidential Suite.

Beach and Pool Areas: As we made our way down to the bottom floor, we visited more restaurants, including a coffee shop, kids club, and a cigar bar with one of the best views of the beach. The pool area had plenty of seating, umbrellas, cabanas, and a swim-up bar at the adult pool. The large beach had great spots for events, including several large cabanas. The beach itself was pristine, and the views were breathtaking.

Conclusion of Our Day

Our day continued with a visit to the Grand Club Lounge for a snack and handcrafted cocktail, lunch at the poolside Grill, and relaxation in our guest room for the day. The Grand Club Lounge offered an exclusive experience with top-notch service and gourmet snacks. The poolside Grill served delicious meals in a relaxed setting, perfect for a midday break.

The evening concluded with a reservation at Blu, boasting excellent views of the Mar de Cortés, an informal atmosphere, and a unique menu of Pacific specialties. The sunset views from Blu were spectacular, and the menu featured fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
